Billing and Fraud Policy

This policy governs billing review, chargeback procedures, and fraud prevention for ximagineai.com ("X Imagine AI," "we," "us," or "our"). If a billing issue occurs, we review it under the process below. Credits are issued after payment confirmation, and the order is treated as fulfilled once issuance is complete.

1. Payment and Billing

All purchases on X Imagine AI are one-time payments — there are no recurring subscriptions, automatic renewals, or hidden fees.

Payments are processed exclusively through Stripe, a PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. By completing a purchase, you authorize X Imagine AI and Stripe to charge your payment method for the selected purchase.

Stripe processing fees are retained by the payment processor once processed.

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, currency conversion fees, or regional charges associated with your purchase. Your bank may apply conversion fees separately.

Billing disputes must be raised within 7 days of the charge date.

2. Billing Review

2.1 Review Scope

Billing reviews focus on payment accuracy, duplicate charges, and verified account-security issues. Credits are issued promptly after payment confirmation. Once credits have been issued to your account, the order is treated as fulfilled, whether or not the credits have been used.

Completed service delivery includes paid purchases, unused or partially used balances, voluntary account closure, and differences between expected and generated AI output.

2.2 Billing Issues We Review

We may review and resolve:

  • Duplicate charges — accidental repeat transactions for the same purchase, only where duplicate entitlements have not been issued or can be removed before use
  • Confirmed unauthorized transactions — charges resulting from verified unauthorized use of your payment method, subject to identity verification

2.3 Completed Delivery

The following are treated as completed service delivery rather than billing errors:

  • Credits that have already been issued to your account after payment confirmation
  • Stripe payment processing fees
  • Unused or partially used balances
  • Account suspensions or terminations resulting from violations of our Terms of Service
  • Accounts found to have engaged in fraudulent activity, chargeback abuse, or unauthorized API usage
  • AI output quality, feature expectations, platform experience, misuse of the Service, or failure to read the feature descriptions before purchase

2.4 Review Process

Approved billing adjustments are issued to the original payment method only. Processing times are subject to your bank or card issuer, typically 5–10 business days after approval.

We will confirm approved billing adjustments by email within 2 business days of receiving a valid request.

3. Chargeback and Dispute Policy

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly at [email protected]. We will review billing concerns, duplicate charges, unauthorized transactions, and delivery issues under this policy.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:

  • Delays in resolution
  • Temporary account restriction pending investigation
  • Potential permanent account suspension if the chargeback is found to be unwarranted

If a chargeback is filed after a refund has already been issued by us, the user may be held liable for any dispute fees charged by Stripe or the card network.

Users who repeatedly initiate chargebacks against X Imagine AI purchases, or who are found to have misused the dispute process, may be permanently banned from the Service and reported to fraud prevention networks.

4. Fraud Prevention

We maintain active fraud detection and prevention measures to protect the platform and all users:

  • All transactions are screened through Stripe's fraud detection systems
  • Accounts showing signs of unauthorized access, stolen payment method usage, or identity fraud are suspended immediately pending investigation
  • We monitor for automated abuse, bulk generation via unauthorized scripts, and access-control circumvention attempts
  • Suspicious activity may be reported to relevant law enforcement or fraud prevention authorities

Accounts found to have engaged in fraudulent behavior — including stolen payment methods, account sharing to circumvent access controls, or unauthorized API access — will be permanently terminated without refund.

You must provide accurate billing and identity information when making purchases. Providing false information to obtain refunds constitutes fraud and may result in legal action.

5. Policy Updates

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes to our platform operations or legal requirements. Updates take effect upon publication and will be communicated via email or in-platform notice.
